ROUNDTABLE: “FEMINIST PUBLISHING PRAXIS”

On May 17, 2015, Feral Feminisms collaborated with Monica Casper for a roundtable on “Feminist Publishing Praxis” at the Publishing Feminisms Symposium in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Participating journals included The Feminist WireTRIVIA: Voices of Feminism, femspec, off our backs, and GUTS.

 

ROUNDTABLE: “FOCUS ON FEMINIST JOURNALS: PUBLISHING IN PRECARIOUS TIMES”

On May 26, 2014, Feral Feminisms invited the editors of GUTS, .dpi, and Atlantis to a roundtable on feminist publishing at the annual conference of Women and Gender Studies et Recherches Feministes (WGSRF) at Congress, 2014, held at Brock University. This roundtable discussion explored how stakeholders within feminist publishing maintain their commitment to fostering and expanding dialogue within and beyond feminism as well as the discipline of Women’s and Gender Studies while navigating the current publishing climate.
